With the beginning of Steam Next Fest, Breakfirst Games and Just For Games are happy to announce today that their cooperative escape game How 2 Escape will be launched on August 31, 2023 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4 & 5 and PC.

The free companion app for the second player is available for free on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).
The demo allows you to complete the entire tutorial, as well as the first puzzle in the first carriage of the main game. Find a playing partner and each take on a new role: one will take on the role of the trapped girl, Emy, (Steam) and the other the role of her brother, Johan, who will have the necessary tools in hand to help her escape.
In addition, the Breakfirst team will be live on Tuesday June 20 at 6 p.m. CEST/9 a.m. PT to play the game and answer your questions about the demo on How 2 Escape’s Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2264140/How_2_Escape/
In How 2 Escape, players will have to talk and collaborate to find the solution: one player, trying to escape, will play on a computer or console and the second, trying to help the first player, will play on a phone with the free dedicated companion app.
Internet is NOT required to play: whether you are in the same room, on the phone or on a chat app, anything works to play How 2 Escape together!
The only rule: It’s a game that relies on communication, so talk to one another and keep your screen for yourself!
